I used the size chart for my Specialized cycling shoes and the fit couldn't have been better. Absolutely loving the new insoles for my cycling shoes! Shoes feel stiffer, foot seems to be in a more powerful positions, and the transfer of power to the bike really feels better. These soles provide a solid base on which to push for hours! Would highly recommend trying these.

I’m 47 and I race road and MTB but primarily criteriums. I train around 11 hours per week.
I work on my feet and have constant foot pain. I’m not lying to you and this is a real review, these insoles have reduced my foot pain overall. There is no doubt you can feel better power transfer to the rear wheel.

Das Laufen fühlt sich jetzt viel stabiler an. Ich habe mir mittlerweile für jedes Paar Laufschuhe welche angeschafft! !

One pair, Giros, were too wide, and another pair, Shimanos, caused achilles pain. Both issues resolved with the Solestar Kontrol. Pretty amazing! I have tried professional bike fitters and none came up with as good a solution.

I upgraded from Specialized BG insoles to Solestar’s Kontrol insoles: day and night really. I am a 1.80 x 85kg rider, shoe size 43.5 (fizik + DMT) and got a 44 as suggested: perfect fit. I do not have a history of bike fit discomfort and I am pretty dialed in on both my road and gravel bikes, your average 10.000km x year, training, racing, bike packing. My only issue is “hot foot” in summer when over 4-5 hours of continuous riding. I tested the Kontrols for 350km and after this break in they started to feel dialed in, your feet have to adjust to this new insole in more ways than you can imagine: be aware of that, be patient.

Gibt die nötige Unterstützung und macht das Gehgefühl von Schuhen mit harten Sohlen angenehmer.

comfortable and good looking socks that make you want to ride faster

Great product... i like these as much as $300 custom molded insoles...

Thin, which gives a lot a room for my toes. Stiff, so there is no collapse of the arch, like cheaper insole. Yet, I got along with them on the first ride. Good volume metatarsal pads.Grippy surface, keeping the feet in place.
I used size 45 in 44.5 S-Works Torch

My old feet love the support of proper insoles and sole star are my go to. When I saw they’d added tramping insoles it was straight to the web to order. They do not disappoint

I’m using SOLESTAR in all my shoes from casual, cycling to running. Love the extra support which improves performance and reduces fatigue. Thank you SOLESTAR

FAQ
Do hiking insoles really make a difference on the trail?
Yes. Quality hiking insoles provide better arch support, improve foot alignment, and absorb impact on uneven terrain. This reduces fatigue, helps prevent blisters, and can even minimize strain on your knees and lower back, making long hikes more comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I use hiking insoles in any type of hiking boots or shoes?
Most hiking insoles are designed to fit in a wide range of footwear, from sturdy hiking boots to lightweight trail shoes. The key is to choose the right thickness and shape for your shoe’s internal volume. Thinner, low-profile insoles are better for snug-fitting shoes, while thicker insoles work well in roomier boots.
Are hiking insoles good for people with foot pain or conditions?
Absolutely. Many hikers use specialized insoles to help with plantar fasciitis, flat feet, high arches, or general foot pain. By supporting the arch and keeping the foot in a stable position, hiking insoles can relieve pressure points and improve comfort during long treks.
